Transdniestria is an example of how a sovereign assembly with "originary" power has been able to successfully change the power structure and create its own country through the will of self-determination, without outside interference.
The sovereign will of the people has prevailed in the face of strong opposition from abroad. This move has been opposed by all of its neighbors. During the years of Yeltsin, even Russia was against Transdniestria. But for 17 years, the proud people of Transdniestria have faced adversity and hardship to realize the process of a peaceful revolution.
France, the United States and many other countries were founded on the basis of the originary power of the people. Today's powerful states can not deny the same right to Transdniestria.
